Abacus Cuff

This is a very simple cuff which I have not attempted before.
I named it "Abacus" because it looks like an abacus to me.
(Abacus: A frame with wires along which beads are slid for calculating,
In Bahasa Melayu, it's called a Sempoa)
The cuff (a sample) is constructed with 16 gauge artistic wire and embellished with black AB donut glass beads and small white faux pearls.
The width of the embellished cuff is
about 3 cm and it fits a size 6-7 inches wrist.

It fits snugly on my wrist (it's adjustable)

Beads and colour of artistic wire could be replaced with preferred choice.

Free From Wire Wrapping Clay Rose Pendant

This is a free form wire wrapping pendant, constructed with silver artistic wire and wrapped and coiled with various colours of polymer clay roses, Czech leave glass beads as well as coloured swarovski bicones. The pendant measures approximately 7mm from top of bail and 4mm at it's widest.


This pendant is only a sample and it's a made to order piece. It can be constructed
in a smaller version but may differ slightly from the piece shown above,
as well as other shapes with the same technique.

Wavy Cuff Bracelet

Hi ya.......have been doing the vanishing act again and now i'm back. The week long school holidays have come and gone and i've been stuck in Seremban with no where to go.
Today and yesterday was full of activities, not for me but for the children. Went to the memorial park for "Cheng Ming" prayers early yesterday morning to avoid the usual crowd. Woke up early again this morning to send two of them to school, waited for my son to get his UPSR monetary reward and then off to Jusco to shop for some revision books as well as to look for my jewelry magazines.
Now that the two boys are out of the house and with the daughter sleeping, I have some peace to myself for a little while before they're back. Talking 'bout jewelry magazines, they're hard to get over here in Seremban as there's no demand for them. I can be deemed lucky to get this copy in MPH. Been doing some on-line sourcing for materials for my wire jewelry,too, as well as to finish some commissioned pieces.

Anyway, not to bore you with my ramblings, i've posted this cuff bracelet which was completed quite some time ago.

The wavy design was sculptured with 16g artistic artistic wire and hammered for extra strength. 8mm Crackle glass beads and pink gold beads are hand-coiled onto the frame. Pre-coiled links are added to the side of the frame to connect with the hand-forged s-shape clasp.

It fits snugly on my wrist!

Now that i've posted something here, am goin to do some surfing. Or read the magazine i just bought or ... but .... on second thoughts, i'd better have my forty winks before the boys are back.

Woven Bezel Turquoise Pendant & Ear Cuffs

Hm......... thank God at last I managed to upload these pictures. Tried many, many times to upload today but was not successful due to uploading errors as well as problem with the internet explorer (IE). I've given up on IE, so in case you can't get into my blog, just try Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Anyway, these pictures are for sharing.


Tried my hands at the single sided woven bezel (design by Lisa Barth) but this time with a triangular shape turquoise cabochon and silver wire as well as added some seed beads to the bottom frame. I think turquoise blue looks better with copper or brass (gold) wire.


I've never done any ear cuffs before so I tried my hands at it yesterday.

The above are a pair of ear cuffs done with brass wire and embellished with 6mm green/pink/blue cats's eye beads and pink gold beads.

Amethyst/Hemimorphite & Swarovski Teardrop Earrings

I completed these three pairs of simple earrings a few days ago and had wanted to post them earlier but was having problem while uploading the files.

Constructed with anti-tarnish brass artistic wire and hand forged ear wires. The two green beads are heart shape Natural Hemimorphite Faceted Briolettes and accompanied by white Swarovski bicone crystals and 14k gold filled beads (suasa).
Measurement: 2.8cm from loop of ear wire)

Teardrop Lacey Pendants & Celtic Ear Studs (Custom Order))

Wow!!!! I think I've been away too long and you'd be wondering what happen to me. Well.... nothing happen though, it's just that I've been busy with some commissioned pieces for a customer and I've been doing just that. Am still at it but I thought I'd better write and post something here so that you'll know that am still standing on the face of this earth. =))
The weather is so hot nowadays, so much so that I prefer to stay indoors. Not that I like the weather but at times it is unavoidable when you have to leave the house to send and fetch the children from their places of activities. I think my complexion has gone two to three shades darker!!
Here is a picture of two teardrop pendants and celtic ear studs requested by my customer, FY.
